The much anticipated trailer for the new Quentin Tarantino film was released this week. After script leaks and production cancellations, The Hateful Eight is finally here. I wasn’t a fan of Django Unchained, so I’ve been excited to see the director’s next effort. This one showcases Tarantino veterans Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and of course, Samuel L. Jackson, but I look forward to seeing Kurt Russell look like an evil Rooster Cogburn in this tale of old west bounty hunters caught in a blizzard. I also love the advertisement for watching the film on 70mm, rather than digital. Tarantino has always been faithful to classic forms, and I agree with him that original prints look better on screen and enhance the moviegoing experience. The Hateful Eight will debut Christmas Day. Enjoy!
